The Summerwind Premium Horse Solarium combines modern design, modern materials, high functionality and efficiency. Equipped with 36 infrared lamps and 16 extremely silent fans, the Premium model fulfills highest expactations.
As with our other solariums, the primary task of the Summerwind Premium horse solarium is to dry or warm up your horse as quickly as possible. Compared to our other Summerwind Horse Solariums, however, there are some exciting added features as the anatomic shape.
Our horse solarium is delivered ready to plug in, which means that all electrics are installed and tested. All you need is a CEE 380 V outlet and 16 A (with a slow blow fuse).
Patented circulating air system, installed in Summerwind Premium and Summerwind de Luxe
The integrated circulating air system, which is installed in the Summerwind Premium model and in the Summerwind De Luxe model, optimizes the horse drying process. After a training session, it is particularly important to prevent the sweaty horse from cooling down too fast or being exposed to cold drafts. Particularly the horse’s sensitive belly area, as well as the kidney and loin region must be protected to prevent tension or even colds.
The Summerwind Premium horse solarium has been designed with these aspects in mind. When the horse is treated with infrared light, the back and upper flanks are bathed in soothing warmth. However, the infrared lamps cannot be pointed at the horse’s sensitive belly area. For this reason, the Summerwind Premium Horse Solarium has been equipped with an integrated circulation air system.
The Summerwind Premium horse solarium is equipped with 16 extremely silent fans with an air capacity of 140 m3 per hour each.
After a training session, the sweating horse radiates a lot of heat; added to this is the heat generated by the infrared light. The ventilation system of the Summerwind Premium Horse Solarium is geared towards taking away the heat to avoid heat accumulation and thus excessive post-exercise sweating. The advantage of the Summerwind Premium horse solarium is that the rising heat is not simply suctioned off, but instead is drawn in by air control nozzles and transferred to adjustable ventilation nozzles that can reach otherwise inaccessible parts of the horse, such as the belly area. The resulting evenly distributed air circulation bathes the horse’s entire body in soothing heat and ensures that it dries off evenly.
Another advantage of the patented circulating air system is that the heat generally produced during a drying session is reused and not lost. Due to this principle, no additional energy supply for heating up colder surrounding air is required. No additional heat source is required to warm the horse’s belly region. The Summerwind Premium horse solarium differs from most other horse solariums on the market due to its significantly lower energy consumption. This not only benefits the user, but is also a huge plus for the environment.
